MY5

Parkside's challenge in 2012 is to put the Holy Spirit to work.  In Acts 1:8 Jesus promises that we, “… will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses..."

We're calling the challenge, "MY5" and the first step is asking every Parkside family member to pray every day for the same five people in their life that don't yet know the Good News of Jesus.

It is our conviction that the Holy Spirit will do His work in our lives and their lives until they come to see and know the incomparable riches of Jesus.

Sweetheart Sock Hop 2012

You're invited to our annual Sweetheart Sock Hop on Saturday, February 11, 2012!

6:30pm - Dance Lessons
7:00pm - Open Floor & Live Music
9:00pm - Wrap-up

Admission is by donation.  Come dressed to the 50's or 60's.  There will be a soda shop (cash only).  All proceeds from the night go to our summer camp bursary program.

New Year's Games Night

Get your game face on and come on out to our annual New Year’s Games Night.  This year it falls on Saturday, December 31st and goes from 7:00pm - 12:01am.  Bring games, desserts, appetizers, chocolate, and lots of friends and family.  We will enjoy a great evening of getting to know one another a little better as we play together.  Come at whatever time works and leave whenever is convenient. December 24 - Christmas Eve Service
Join us on Saturday, December 24th at 5:00pm for our Christmas Eve service.  We will sing Christmas songs, read Scripture, and reflect on the birth of Christ.

December 25 - Christmas Day Service
Join us on Sunday, December 25th at 10:00am for our Sunday gathering.  Clint Nelson will be sharing about the beauty of Christ's birth.

Join us on Sunday, November 27th at 10:00am for our Sunday gathering.  Catherine Dagneau will be sharing about the hope we have in Christ.

December 2 - Candlelight Parade
Head down to 1st Ave on December 2nd at 7:30pm for Mission's annual Candlelight Parade... we've got a float in it!

December 4 - Advent (Week 2) LOVE
Join us on Sunday, December 4th at 10:00am for our Sunday gathering.  Dave Parsons will be sharing about the love we have in Christ.

December 11 - Advent (Week 3) JOY
Join us on Sunday, December 11th at 10:00am for our Sunday gathering.  Our kids will be singing some Christmas songs and Clint Nelson will be sharing about the joy we have in Christ.  Following the service there will be a bake sale (proceeds to our summer camp bursaries).

December 11 - Christmas Concert for the Food Bank
Join us on Sunday, December 11th at 7:00pm for an evening of music with "Willy and the Wannabees", "Catherine Dagneau", and "Karin Olsen".  Bring non-perishable food items for admission.

December 16 - Christmas Movie Night
Join us on Friday, December 16 at 7:00pm in our Youth Centre for a family Christmas movie.  Admission is by donation.  A concession will be open.  All proceeds will go towards summer camp bursaries.

December 18 - Advent (Week 4) PEACE
Join us on Sunday, December 18th at 10:00am for our Sunday gathering.  Clint Nelson will be sharing about the peace we have in Christ.
